Akiba Dori

Serving up a peculiar combination of Japanese street food & Tokyo-style Neapolitan pizza, Akiba Dori (literally "Akiba street" in Japanese) is the best place to catch some relaxed street vibes in Dubai.

With two locations: on Al Khail St and in the Dubai Design District, this is the place to go to try something familiar but a little new!

Mimi Kakushi

Located in the Four Seasons in Jumeirah, Mimi Kakushi is super trendy right now. Self-proclaimed the "best Japanese restaurant in Dubai," this place really does offer the full experience!

Plus, there's a special Valentine's experience on the 14th from 6 PM: "Embark on a memorable experience with a delectable four-course set menu that brings together authentic flavours of Japan with a playful edge.

Indochine

Looking for something a bit more central? Indochine, located in DIFC, is fancy and delightful and perfect for when you want to have Asian food in style.

They also have a stocked cocktail menu, with everything from whisky to lychee saketinis, and are the perfect place to wind down and enjoy a chill date!

3Fils

Options so far a little too... well-known? 3Fils is a small place in the Marina, which is a bit hidden from sight. The Asian fusion cuisine is to die for, though, and its contemporary Asian food is award-winning.

Not only that - it's harbor-side, so it has some stellar views!

Tasca

Now, we all love a little Asian food, but we're not always in the mood for it. Tasca, on the 6th floor of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Jumeirah, serves genuine Portuguese flavors with a contemporary twist.

Not only that, but you can also have a chill relaxing day by the exclusive rooftop pool, including drinks and lunch, and have some prime views overlooking the water. Now that's what I call romantic!

Mythos Kouzina & Grill

Genuinely one of my favorite restaurants in Dubai, Mythos Kouzina & Grill in Jumeirah Lakes Towers brings authentic Greek food to the table. With a simple menu that is fresh and absolutely delicious, as well as a slightly tucked-away location, this place is the definition of a hidden gem!

Plus, it has a good selection of wines!

Capri Italian Grill

The first pizzeria in the UAE, Capri Italian Grill is located in the Dubai World Trade Centre Apartments, and offers casual and affordable dining. Popular among those who have been in Dubai for a long time, this is the place to go to spend some alone time with your loved one - and get some fantastic garlic bread while you're at it!

Bistro des Arts

What's the most romantic place in the world? Ask anyone and they'll probably tell you Paris. Bistro des Arts in the Dubai Marina is a traditional French restaurant with a romantic setting that's reminiscent of the city of love, and should bring some extra spice to your big day!
