Design story:
Just like yoga, mandalas are a creative way to express yourself. We designed our Mandala Yoga Mat with the words strength, growth, love, compassion & eternity in mind, and each design element has a meaning behind it.
Celtic knot: The shape in the middle is our adaptation of the celtic knot symbol, which represents love. We believe that love for all things, including the self, is essential to your growth + self-development.
Diamonds: We incorporated diamonds to symbolize our strength + uniqueness. It also reminds us of how we’re all a little rough around the edges at first, until we bloom into our higher selves.
Dots + lines: The dots represent the different stages of life, and the multiple borders represent our barriers or limiting beliefs, that we must work through.
Colour Theory: We selected a light, dusty pink colour for this yoga mat, as it signifies love, kindness + femininity.
The top surface of this yoga mat is made with Polyurethane (PU) – a super sleek + grippy material for a safe + supported practice. The base of the yoga mat is made from natural tree rubber, for its anti-skid + shock absorption properties, ensuring the mat doesn’t slip on any floors.
