The primary inspiration behind the Dune Yoga Mat, is the immense Arabian deserts that are home to the UAE, as well as the bright orange sunsets we get to witness daily.

Sand dunes + Sunset: The Arabian desert is beautiful. It’s a place where we can enjoy barbecues, camping, star gazing, hiking, offroading, sand boarding, camel riding, or even just to escape the busy city life. It’s a representation of the UAE’s natural beauty. It represents openness, possibility + grounding, something we wanted to bring to life with this mat.

Sunset: Watching the sun set behind the sand dunes is one of the beautiful gifts nature has to offer. We wanted to use an abstract design concept for this mat to keep it simple, as the shapes and colours speak for themselves. It symbolizes serenity, endings, new beginnings + trust.

Colour Theory: Did you know that the sand in each emirate in the UAE is a different shade of red or orange? We wanted to keep this design simple and abstract, but still incorporate a few shades of orange to reflect this. Orange symbolizes confidence, optimism + compassion.

The top surface of this yoga mat is made with Microfiber (vegan suede) – a soft + velvety material for a safe + supported practice. The base of the yoga mat is made from natural tree rubber, for its anti-skid + shock absorption properties, ensuring the mat doesn’t slip on any floors.
