The Earthistic Banana Fibre Yoga Mat is delicately woven from one of the world's strongest natural fibers banana fiber. This biodegradable and extremely durable material has similar properties to bamboo fiber, but is finer with stronger tensile strength, meaning it will last even longer.
The supple characteristics of the banana fiber provide this mat with an interesting combination of grip and resilience. Banana fiber is a known hypoallergenic (relatively unlikely to cause an allergic reaction).
Earthistic's banana fibre mats are woven together with cotton yarns, which provides the mat with a softer and more comfortable handle. Each mat is also rubberized on the underside for extra grip and stability, allowing it to be used on any surface without compromising your practice.
