- Fabric: Lotus Stem Fiber, sourced from Myanmar, woven in Himachal Pradesh, India. Un-dyed, natural.
- Button: Coconut Shell.
- Dye: 100% plant-based.
- Stitching Thread: GOTS Certified 100% Cotton.
- Packaging: Bags made from recycled denim/canvas.
- Tag: Waste lotus fabric with walnut dye logo.
- End of Life: Compostable after repair and reuse.
- Fusing: Not used; adhesive material is not sustainable.
- Production: Small batch handloom, vegetable dyes. Minor discrepancies are expected and considered part of the design.
Washing Instructions:
- Use cold water, turn item inside out.
- Add a few drops of high-quality liquid detergent.
- Gently agitate for 3-5 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with cold water.
- Avoid chlorine bleach.
- Absorb excess water with a towel, don’t twist.
- Dry in the shade, avoid direct sunlight and tumble drying.
- Check colorfastness before washing.
Plant-Dyed Fabric Care:
- Wash only when necessary, use 40°C short program.
- Don’t let wet clothes sit; dry in the shade.
- Use gentle, pH-neutral detergent.
