A non-profit organization established to conserve the UAE's natural heritage, Emirates Nature-WWF is a legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed. His vision was to build a future where people and nature thrive together, and it's a vision that we at WILD FABRIK, too, hope to see.

Emirates Nature-WWF has been active in environmental conservation throughout the MENA region. They work in association with WWF, one of the most well-known independent conservation organizations.

A program created by WWF and continued by Emirates Nature-WWF, Leaders of Change is a way that individuals can volunteer to help save the environment. It helps maximize each person's impact on environmental change, and aims for a brighter, greener tomorrow.

So what's in it?

There are countless opportunities available that you can sign up for like working with experts on conservation trips and volunteering in your local community. Trips allow you to connect with bright minds and interesting people, too! These are called "missions" and the goal is to help build a world for generations to come.

Our impact, as humans, grows with globalization and with every person that's born in the world. But that impact doesn't have to be negative! Leaders of Change shows us that together we can change our behavior for a better tomorrow.

And starting your journey in conservation doesn't have to be a huge ordeal. It can be as small as picking up plastics or as fun as learning about and interacting with the marine wildlife!

There are some great outdoor wildlife spotting and photography events in the near future, which we're really interested in. If you like a bit of hiking and enjoy taking in the sights, this one may be for you!

Leaders of Change is one of many initiatives by WWF and Emirates-WWF that's geared towards raising awareness and building leaders in conservation. It's a program that we at WILD FABRIK feel strongly about. Sustainable shopping is the name of our game, but it doesn't have to stop there!

Recently, we also launched a collection with Emirates Nature-WWF to help raise funds for a lot of the solid work they're doing. (and honestly, it's a super cute line!)

My favorite is the Arabian Oryx t-shirt. There's something almost regal about the way it stares down the camera! But there's also something about the tote bag that just strikes right with me.
